Is there anything more indulging for your skin than a deeply nourishing, divinely smelling whipped body butter made with 100% natural ingredients?
I am a true believer of the power of nature. Not only does it provide us with everything we need, it is so ingenious that there is a plant for about any use and occasion. This lavender whipped body butter with pure CBD extract is suitable for all skin types, particularly for dry and sensitive skin.

I love it when I discover something that works great. There’s just really something about being self-sufficient and making your own food and beauty product from scratch when you feel like it.
Besides buying some of my favorite natural beauty products, it’s a good feeling that if for whatever reason I wouldn’t have access to them, I could easily make many products myself. The majority of my DIY recipes are super simple and fast, using essentials that work!

This lavender CBD body butter has tons of benefits for your skin.

* it’s moisturizing
* it stimulates cell regeneration
* it’s anti-aging
* it’s rich in antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins
* it improves skin elasticity
* it’s anti-inflammatory
* has strong anti-microbial properties
* it helps reduce tense muscles

Lavender essential oil and CBD are both known for their relaxing properties, so this is an ideal self-care treatment before bed time or when you’re in need of a moment to unwind.

My favorite CBD brand is Endoca because of the superior quality of their products. They use organic hemp grown in Denmark, a county that has low air pollution and high standards.
Their low-temperature extraction method preserves the full spectrum of the plant’s properties and is very environmental-friendly.
They work closely with biochemists and neuroscientists and supply hospitals with their CBD products, which I believe says a lot.  I did a lot of research before I ordered from them and so far I am very satisfied. Their CBD is very pure and concentrated, so you only need a small amount.

In case you wonder what CBD extract is, this is the concentrated form that CBD oil is made from.
It contains the properties of the whole plant and is the most natural and potent form of CBD.
If you want, you can use CBD oil instead but to get the same potency, you will need a stronger concentration oil or a higher dosage.

I don’t specify the amount of CBD extract on purpose because it really depends on the quality you use and on your specific needs. If you have sore muscles or small injuries like bruises, you will need a different amount than for regular symptom-free use.
If you are going to use CBD extract from Endoca, ask their customer service how much you should use. Make sure to tell them what you plan to do with it and if you have any pain or discomfort that you wish to treat. They are very friendly and knowledgable and reply quickly in their chat.
If you’re using a different brand, ask them how much to use. Chances are that if you don’t ask, you will end up using way too much as opposed to not enough. CBD extract is really concentrated, so a tiny bit goes a long way.

Lavender CBD whipped body butter

1 cup / 250 ml coconut oil
pure CBD extract
10 drops lavender oil

If your coconut oil is solid, gently melt it in a double boiler pan or Au Bain Marie on a low fire.
Remove from heat and add the other ingredients. Mix it with a hand mixer and put it in a container to set. This amount is enough to use a few times as it’s very rich.

Use this lavender CBD body butter after a bath or shower and whenever you are in need of some self-care. Gently massage it into your skin and enjoy the sensation.
