Soft lips with a healthy gloss and a dash of color: you can get them with this DIY vegan coconut oil lip balm!

Cold weather, wind, heat, pollution and other external factors have a strong impact on our skin, especially on those sensitive areas such as the lips.

Dry or cracked lips can he both painful and unappealing, so I like to give my lips some extra care.
I love it when I discover a product that works great and contains only healthy ingredients.
And this lip balm is packed with them.

The ingredients

→ Castor oil has moisturizing, detoxifying and cleansing properties and is very suitable for delicate skin such as the lips.

→ Red palm oil is rich in Vitamin E and other antioxidants such as vitamin A, D and K.
The warm red color brings out the natural color of your lips.
Make sure to use one that is sustainably produced, as many types of palm oil are not good for the environment.

→ Candelilla wax is a natural vegan substitute for beeswax. It is rich in nutrients, moisturizes and helps prevent moisture loss.
It is used as a natural thickener in food and cosmetics and also prevents oils and other liquids from separating.

→ Coconut oil contains strong anti-aging, moisturizing and anti-bacterial properties. It also lightly blocks UV rays from the sun.
